What could be better after a lovely country or beach walk than to relax and watch the fire flicker as you sip wine in your corner spa bath ? The water for your spa comes from our clear spring-fed dam on the 43 acre property.
Each apartment has cosy wood fires and a box of logs outside your door sufficient for your stay. These have been sustainably grown and harvested from our blue gum plantation.
At Corinium Roman Villa, there are individual gas barbecues for every apartment. Using the latest hooded Jumbuck gas barbecues with a temperature gauge. All barbecues are clean and supplied with utensils for you to grill or roast your own food if you wish.
Situated on a plateau overlooking Torrens Vale, Corinium has breathtaking views of country scenery. We have a grove of heritage Eucalyptus fasciculosa (pink gum), numerous local native species which we have planted through Trees for Life and a sustainable plantation of Tasmanian blue gums.
Our trees provide a home for native wildlife species including kangaroos, echidnas, antechinus. Birdlife around the villa includes Superb Blue Wren, several species of honeyeaters and finches, wagtails, grey shrike thrush and raptor species including wedge tailed eagles.
To take advantage of the magnificent views, you can relax on your own private verandas and watch the blue wrens strut or the eagles soar. Each veranda has an outdoor setting so you can enjoy breakfast, morning coffee or an evening sip.
